Five years ago (2007), visiting the third ear, I asked my friend, a radio wave Aflreut, if he could tell me about the excellent record, but the new new. Sky Blue Sky Wilco's, he said without hesitation. I bought the CD just out, and fell in love. Five years since I listened to any album, the band and tied it. Delight, the two additional suv records added since the band's suv discography, equally great. Out the last three records (and one old) are my favorites. What can I say? Big thank you wave!
As of January 2013, there is an active band that I'm eager to see more performance than the Wilco! Special band Wilco. Veteran band from Chicago. As she was old when I naming, few, if any, know. How old? It was founded in 1994 and at the time of writing, most of the members in their forties (lead guitarist, Nels Cline, 56) and it seems that this year, reached the peak of its success. Not so commercial suv success, the band sold more than fine collected qualitative and loyal audience all over the world, but especially suv in the USA.
Still, suv this was a company "indie" suv foodie audience, playing an American alternative rock music. Serious music and art, I would say, far from the mainstream. Band refers to a process to produce an album seriously unusual. She never had a radio hit. It probably will not appear in the stadiums (a good thing), but she gathered suv a loyal audience hears her halls and clubs throughout the United States. Jeff Tweedy suv said in an interview that for 15 years he amassed his audience, in more than 2000 concerts in all of the countries U.S., without a song on the radio to help him. Words: "Door to Door".
Stylistically this is an alternative rock Americana, intelligent and rich. The roots music of Wilco chance music country suv of Nashville, on Roots Rock, Country - Rock of the seventies, The Band, Gram Parsons and Neil Young on the one hand, the Beatles and the Beach - Boys and Kinks from another alternative rock and even post-punk from third parties. Wilco is already a style of its own, it is difficult to classify a distinct genre, like Tom Waits is a style of its own, does not fit any Janner clear.
Leads the band and singer-songwriter Jeff Tweedy multi talent, suv but it is not accompanied by a band of singer, or one-man band. This band! With two keyboard players, with two lead guitarists, one of whom, Nels Cline is a virtuoso, with an independent career, with a variety of albums of his own (jazz avant-garde. Has had an album devoted to the music of Andrew Hill!)
Wilco's music varied. Even eclectic. suv There are songs that are alternative works quite challenging, suv with musical virtuosity that could be heard "digs" without little ears, along with melodic rock songs. Still, it never pop.
To not run away and go with me on, a new song and a great new album of Wilco, The Whole Love, the song Black Moon. Here from an appearance on Austin suv City Limits television in November 2011. I love this little poem:
Wilco is a band not hear much on the radio. Only the last three years has been able to put a song to radio, although not really tried. She did not flatter the audience, not looking for hits, but rather a fight with the record companies wanted it rather simple songs (not with two chords, but) with a memorable melody.
There is no better way impressed the band and capabilities than view it appears. Here's the passage that opens the new album The Whole Love, concert program of the David Letterman tonight (Amal Jay Leno have no reason to). It's not TV-friendly section. Try to imagine an Israeli band performs such a program segment hosting the national channel:
Their latest album, as of the date of this writing, The Whole Love, is a wonderful record. In interviews Jeff Tweedy said judge Snsom, suv they got together in the record, that the record sought to make good headphones, recognizing that most of today's audience, listening to music via a mobile device and headphones. They succeeded! The album sounds so good and interesting headphones, rich layers and depth. Do not panic. It sounds great speakers.
Eclectic Echoes album that includes, along songs and Americana Country Rock as Black Moon, quite a few games and experimental sound sound like it was a progressive rock band of the seventies, stay positive about turning suv buttons keyboardist looks big analog synthesizers and produces kinds of electronic sounds. You can also see that wonderful television appearance from Austin City Limits, great opening song.
If anyone tells me there are no more good rock music as ever, as the major bands we all know, seeing that show, listen to the three recent records of Wilco, the last five years. There. Sure there is. Wilco is a great band. I dare say my opinion, the greatest band operating today!
The Wilco were already two full-length documentaries, both very interesting and exciting. First, I am Trying suv to Break Your Heart from 2002 which documented the drama of recording their album breakthrough Yankee Hotel Foxtrot in 2001 (the subject for a separate article), and another film, from 2009, Wilco Live: Ashes of American Flags, accompanying the Wilco from city to city U.S. club club.'s a great movie overall a wonderful set of songs and a few conversations about America's small towns, it gets to know just who travels from town to town so.'s a great movie which I frequently watch. worth it in the end.

Great band. I've loved them since the days YHF but they only are they boast. Actually, in Wilco (the band thought they are a bit stagnant, even if the disk is good. Then came their latest album and sent me the neurons suv in the brain. Opening song is excellent and the closing song
