The jewel disappeared in the late 16th century, and was missing for hundreds of years, before rediscovered in 2004; after extensive research, it has been recently identified as the Mary Tudor pearl.
Held every year since 2010, Masterpiece offers shoppers and curious visitors the chance to get up close to - and even take home - museum-quality art and artifacts.

The artwork, "Puzzle Portrait," which was created by Lichtenstein (1923-1997) in 1978, before being sold directly to the owner, he kept out of the public eye for years.
The super-sized pearl, which weighs 64.5 carats (258.12 grains), once did Mary I of England (1516-1558). The monarch was wearing painted it in several portraits, now in the Prado in Madrid and the National Portrait Gallery in London.
