MS Foundation gm alert to prevent corn bug this season | Brasilagro
The MS Foundation, a leading agribusiness research institutions gm in Mato Grosso do Sul, is strengthening the warning to farmers in the state that will grow second crop corn, also called the winter crop or 2nd harvest, to implement measures order to prevent infestation of the corn bug.
In the season 2014/2015, state producers must cultivate about 1.547 million hectares of corn 2nd harvest and harvest approximately 8.368 million tons, according to the latest survey by the National Supply Company (Conab).
