During the conference, Microsoft Think Next 2014 in Tel Aviv (Israel), racing junk the Israeli startup StoreDot engineers demonstrated the prototype of a new battery for a smartphone, which will be fully charged racing junk in less than 30 seconds. The company already has plans for mass production. This technology will change the way we interact with portable electronics - and even help realize the dream of quick charging electric vehicle.
Now, however, innovative battery from StoreDot reduce charging racing junk time to a few seconds. The company produces the so-called nanodots - chemically synthesized bio-organic molecules, which, thanks to its small size, improve racing junk the capacity and performance of the electrode racing junk electrolyte. As a result, we get a battery that is charged, racing junk not hours seconds.
"In essence, we have developed a new generation of electrodes made of new materials, which we call the MFE - multifunction electrode. On the one hand, it acts as a supercapacitor (with very fast charge), and on the other - as a lithium electrode (slow discharge). Electrolyte modified by our nanodots thus multifunctional electrode become racing junk more effective "- says CEO Doron StoreDot Mayersdorf (Doron Myersdorf).
The company says that unlike other nanodots and quantum dots based on heavy metals that make them toxic, their nanodots are made of renewable raw materials, racing junk which is environmentally friendly. These materials are available in abundance, and nanodots using a basic biological mechanism of self-assembly, which makes them very cheap production.
However Mayersdorf argues that this technology can be used in the production of electric vehicles, modifying the electrode racing junk so that it can withstand higher voltage (and of course setting in parallel a large number of cells).
