Available from March 17 in five-speed manual ($46,490 auto joiner driveaway) and five-speed automatic auto joiner ($48,690 driveaway) specifications, the X-Runner adds value and features over the D-Max LS-U 4×4 dual-cab on which it is based.
Distinguishing the Isuzu D-Max X-Runner from the outside is a red Isuzu grille badge, contrasting stripes and decals, gunmetal grey 17-inch alloy wheels and side steps, front and rear bumper extensions, a black sports bar and matching tub liner. Two metallic paint colours are available: pearlescent white and black mica.
The D-Max X-Runner auto joiner is powered by a 130kW/380Nm 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, claims combined cycle fuel consumption of 8.1-8.3 litres per 100km, and boasts 3500kg braked towing capacity.
